Artist vs. Art

I don't know about you but I always feel art, as a medium, resents my attempts to use it, or at least I do when i'm suffering from artist's block.

Somehow that thought turned into a picture of a pencil about kick the crap out of me (what with? who knows?), It also features a background, something I usually can't be bothered with.
