Hedorah is a very odd member of the Godzilla universe and, although the movie it's from is very strange (let's just say psychedelia is involved), this creature is one of the few daikaiju I feel actually manages to be, well, creepy. Something about the piercing red eyes and odd body movements.
Anyway, this was drawn entirely in Photoshop, maybe one day I'll get my head around this whole 'drawing without lineart showing' thing. Hedorah (c) Toho |

The movie is kinda weird, quite dark (has a huge body count for that era of goji film, seriously, he emits acidic gas), has little animated bits and goes all psychedelic occasionally. It's worth seeing just for the spectacle alone.
