Snipe and Wib Play: Zeno Clash II

Snipe once again, very kindly, did the title card for this week's video:



So yeah, Zeno Clash II.  We did a video on the first game a while back and found it to be strangely endearing, it's got a charm to it that's nearly enough to make me forget how much I dislike first person brawling.  The sequel was much of the same except they spent a little more time explaining what was going on in order to tell a bigger story, but I kinda feel like that harms the game. A lot of the fun of the original was in not understanding, in being surrounded by weirdness that seems to lack much rhyme or reason, it was almost dreamlike.  All trying to tell a grander story does is make the setting feel mundane, which is quite a feat considering the setting in question.

Still, there are testicle shrimps in this one... that's a thing.
